David Knight

About David Knight

David is a Rural Financial Counsellor who works out of the Goondiwindi Office. He supports primary producers in Goondiwindi, Balonne and surrounding areas.

With experience spanning 40 years in banking and finance, David brings with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise. In particular, he has strong rural knowledge as much of his banking and finance work involved the agribusiness sector in Queensland, including Tambo, Gordonvale and Mundubbera.

In recent years, David has undertaken finance and loan related roles in the Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority (QRIDA), as well as Indigenous Business Australia.

When David is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife of 38 years, their two children and four grandchildren.

Southern Queensland is also home to some of David’s other family, with several family members operating cattle enterprises in the Western Downs and Banana Regions.

David works with a team of Financial Counsellors located throughout Southern Queensland.
