About Craig Hilton

Craig is a Rural Financial Counsellor based in Hervey Bay. He supports Wide Bay Burnett primary producers in the Fraser Coast, Bundaberg, Gympie and surrounding areas.

Craig joined RFCS Southern Queensland in February 2022 after working as a Small Business Financial Counsellor in the Wide Bay / Burnett region for just under two years.

Growing up in Brisbane, Craig headed to regional Queensland for work and stayed. “A parochial Queenslander, I have worked in some great locations including Toowoomba, Gympie, Sunshine Coast, Townsville and Mount Isa – where I met my wife.” Craig and his wife and their two teenage daughters enjoy the lifestyle of regional Queensland.

“I’m looking forward to offering farm businesses in my region some impartial, free support,” Craig said. “I can assist clients get to a position where they can make productive informed business decisions.”

With 25 years of small business experience predominantly in banking and a Diploma of Banking and Finance, Craig has also operated his own small business for a number of years.

Craig works with a team of Financial Counsellors located throughout Southern Queensland.
